John Steinbeck's haunting masterpiece, Of Mice and Men, is ths story of two drifters and the difficulties they encounter while working for a mean-spirited landowner. The characters who grace the stage are drawn in the beloved Steinbeck style: expressive, profound, representative of all that is both great and melancholy about Depression-era America. Known for its lyrical humanity and evocative sense of time and place, Of Mice and Men follows the story of Lenny and George, one of literature's most famous and archetypal pairs, as they move inexorably toward tragedy.

Was It a Dream I Loved is a new full length dance theater performance from Oakland based artist collective "this sweet nothing", co-founded by Sonsheree Giles, Heike Liss, and Caroline Penwarden. These three artists fill the stage with music, dance and images that create a landscape of sexual questioning and reality testing informed by Vaslav Nijinsky's scandalous L'apres midi d'une faune.
